RS Renewables Limited is seeking an experienced LOLER Focal Point / Client Representative to support offshore wind activities. The successful candidate will act on behalf of the client, providing oversight of lifting operations and helping to ensure activities are carried out safely and in accordance with project procedures and applicable LOLER requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the LOLER Focal Point / Client Representative for offshore lifting activities.
- Provide client oversight of lifting operations and associated activities.
- Review lifting plans, procedures and relevant documentation.
- Liaise with lifting teams, contractors and project personnel.
- Verify that lifting activities are undertaken in accordance with project procedures and applicable LOLER requirements.
- Attend relevant planning, coordination and toolbox meetings.
- Identify and escalate lifting-related issues, risks or non-conformances.
- Maintain clear communication with the client and relevant project stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in a LOLER Focal Point, Lifting Client Representative or similar lifting assurance role, preferably within the offshore wind or energy sector.
- Relevant LOLER knowledge and a strong understanding of lifting operations, lifting plans and associated documentation.
- Experience reviewing and assessing lift plans, method statements and risk assessments.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, contractors, lifting teams and project personnel.
- Ability to identify lifting-related risks, non-conformances and potential safety issues and escalate them appropriately.
- Ability to work independently, make sound decisions and represent the client professionally in an offshore environment.
